In the early ’80s, Ithaca, NY native, Robert Leach, started his own small contracting business focusing on detail, solid craftsmanship, and customer service. After over 20 years of success, Robert’s son, Eric Leach, returned from the military and joined his father on the team, and together, they incorporated R. Leach & Son Contracting.
Eric knew that they needed to become an expert in one of the many services offered to grow the business. After much research, he found a genuine need for homeowners and local area businesses — a company that provided quality basement waterproofing, crawl space encapsulation, and foundation repair services. After a lot of hard work, the company grew to become Central New York’s leading provider in basement repair and foundation services.

In 2017, we established a partnership with the nationwide leader, Safe Basements. Our partnership has allowed us to provide the best knowledge and regular training for our team.
Expanding Our Reach
In 2018, We quickly opened up our Newfield main office to better serve our customers. We then expanded to Lakeland, Florida, to offer the same quality service throughout the sunny state.
The Unique Sub Division
In 2019 we added a subdivision, Midstate Concrete Leveling & Lifting, to increase the value of homes by helping the community remain safe with leveling sidewalks, patios floors, and more.
